Known Bugs
Enabling / disabling tabs and keyboard shortcuts don't work for SuSE Linux (komparator 0.8). This will (hopefully) be fixed in the next release.
Found a Bug that's not mentioned here?
If you are sure you've found a bug or you have a feature request, you can either use the bug report system of the Komparator project page or send me an email (georg.hennigweb.de). Please include information how to reproduce the bug. Really don't hesitate to send any comments on komparator, as it is unlikely that bugs will be fixed automatically.
Want to see Komparator in your language?
If you want to see a translation of Komparator in your language in the next release, and you have a litte time to do the translation, please follow these steps: Download the latest source package. Unpack it, look into the "po" sub-directory. Copy the file "komparator.pot" to "languagecode.po" where languagecode is "fr" for French, for example. Install KBabel, a KDE translation tool. Translate the file and test it in the following way: first clean up your komparator-0.x directory by running "make clean && make distclean", then run "WANT_AUTOMAKE="1.6" WANT_AUTOCONF="2.5" make -f Makefile.cvs" inside the komparator-0.x directory. Then "./configure", "make" and "make install" as usual. You must install it to see the translation. If you are ready, send me the *.po file per email. Please mention whether you want to keep this translation up-to-date (then I'll send you the *.po file before each release, so you can translate the new or modified messages).
